I'm looking to get a small amount of copper sulfate with which to etch some brass. Do you have any recommendations for where I could find pure copper sulfate?

Re: Looking for copper sulfate to etch brass
Tue, April 22, 2008 - 9:51 AMBryant Laboratories in Berkeley have the greatest selection of chemicals for patina in the Greater Bay Area, but if you live near a winery you could probably find some from the grounds crew because it's used as an anti fungal on the grapes.
Are you going to apply it hot ?
What effect are you seeking ? -
